Summary:
A large Federation ship in the 24th century. The Cheyenne-class was Starfleet's answer to an upgraded Constellation Class starship. With its four warp nacelles and a detachable saucer section the Cheyenne class is probably employed for deep space exploration. The saucer hull is elliptical, but smaller as that of the Galaxy Class. The USS Ahwahnee was the only starship to survive the Battle of Wolf 359, out of the 40 sent.
